Due to its privileged location on the Mediterranean coast, Barcelona has for centuries been a leading center of production, manufacturing and trade in Southern Europe.

In the early 1900’s, Barcelona grew outside the old city walls and developed an organized pattern of streets called Eixample (Expansion). Wealthy Catalan industrials and business owners moved into the city and invested in the capital city’s real estate. Owning a piece of real estate in Barcelona became a symbol of economic and social success. These wealthy entrepreneurs rivaled among themselves to build some of the most beautiful high-rise buildings giving birth to a style known as Modernisme (Art Neuveau).

Antoni Gaudi was one of the most representative architects of that time. He designed several buildings in the city, as well as hundreds of unique construction pieces such as the hexagonal tile inspired on the Mediterranean sea bottom, which we have proudly adopted as our company logo.
